.NET Development Requirements for the eBUS SDK

This article outlines the system requirements for installing and developing with the eBUS SDK.

Hardware Requirements

• GigE Vision Devices: Requires at least one Gigabit Ethernet NIC.

• USB3 Vision Devices: Requires at least one USB 3.0 port.

Development Environment

• Visual Studio Support:
  Compatible with the following versions:

  • 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019

  • Sample .csproj and .vbproj files are based on Visual Studio 2012+, and upgrade prompts are available when opened in newer versions.

• .NET Framework:

  • Uses .NET Framework 4.

  • .NET Core and later (.NET 5/6/7/8) are not supported.

Supported Operating Systems

• Windows 11 (64-bit)

• Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)

• Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)

• Windows 7 SP1 or later (32-bit and 64-bit)
